Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, Amita Ganesh is currently a Presidential Scholar at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. studying political communication and American studies. She's a driven digital producer who is passionate about using equity, empathy, and storytelling to diversify our digital landscape and explore outreach through multimedia. With 4+ years of communications experience, Amita has created social and digital content for Members of Congress at the U.S. House of Representatives, Prairie Roots Kansas, Kesem at GW, and Kansas High School Democrats. Currently, she is a communications intern with New Heights Communications where she is able to put her belief that lasting change begins with storytelling into practice.
